Ingredients

8 oz fettuccine pasta

1 cup cooked shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 cup sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces

2 tbsp olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 cup white wine

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh basil leaves, for garnish

Instructions

Cook the Fettuccine: Start by boiling a large pot of salted water. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, tossing with a bit of olive oil to prevent sticking.

Sear the Steak: In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the sirloin steak pieces with salt and pepper. Add the steak to the skillet and sear for about 3-4 minutes until browned and cooked to your preference. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.

Sauté the Shrimp: In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Then add the cooked shrimp and sauté for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.

Create the Sauce: Pour in the white wine and allow it to simmer for 2-3 minutes, reducing slightly. Add the heavy cream, cherry tomatoes, and red pepper flakes if using. Stir everything together, bringing it to a gentle simmer for about 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.

Combine Ingredients: Return the seared steak to the skillet and add the fettuccine. Toss everything together, ensuring the pasta is well-coated with the creamy sauce. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and mix well, allowing it to melt and blend into the sauce.

Serve: Remove from heat and taste; season with additional salt and pepper if needed. Plate the Surf & Turf Pasta and garnish with fresh basil leaves for a pop of color and flavor.
