1 pound ground beef (or ground chicken/turkey)

1/2 cup breadcrumbs (panko preferred)

1/4 cup finely chopped green onions

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated

1 large egg

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon sesame oil

Salt and pepper to taste

For the Sticky Garlic Teriyaki Sauce:

1/4 cup soy sauce

1/4 cup mirin (sweet rice wine)

2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated

1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 1 tablespoon water (for thickening)

For Serving:

Cooked rice (jasmine or brown rice)

Steamed broccoli or mixed vegetables

Sesame seeds for garnish

Extra sliced green onions for garnish

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    Make the Meatballs:

      - In a large bowl, combine the ground meat, breadcrumbs, green onions, minced garlic, grated ginger, egg, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.

        - Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet.

          Bake the Meatballs:
