Ingredients

2 lbs chicken wings

1 tablespoon smoked paprika

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for heat)

¼ cup olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons honey

2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

Fresh parsley, finely chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat Your Oven: Set your oven to 425°F (220°C). If you have an air fryer, dust off that contraption, as it works wonders for crispy wings too.

Prepare the Wings: Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture. This will help them crisp up in the oven.

Mix the Spice Rub: In a large mixing bowl, combine the smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper (if using). Add the olive oil and stir to form a paste.

Coat the Wings: Add the wings to the spice mixture, ensuring they are evenly coated all over. Allow them to marinate for at least 30 minutes at room temperature, or refrigerate for a few hours for extra flavor.

Bake the Wings: Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil for easy cleanup and place a wire rack over the sheet. Arrange the wings in a single layer on the rack. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, or until the wings are golden brown and crispy.

Prepare the Garlic Sauce: While the wings are baking, heat a small saucepan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, just until fragrant. Stir in honey and apple cider vinegar. Cook for another minute until combined and slightly thickened.

Coat the Wings (Optional): Once wings are done baking, toss them in the garlic sauce for an added flavor punch, or serve the sauce on the side for dipping.

Garnish and Serve: Transfer the wings to a serving platter, drizzle with any remaining garlic sauce, and sprinkle freshly chopped parsley on top for a pop of color. Serve immediately, and enjoy your smoky, garlicky delight!
