Ingredients

8 oz. wide rice noodles

1 lb. flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain

2 cups broccoli florets

2 tbsp vegetable oil, divided

3 garlic cloves, minced

1-inch piece of ginger, grated

1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce

2 tbsp oyster sauce

1 tbsp cornstarch

1 tbsp sesame oil

1 tbsp brown sugar

1/4 cup beef broth (or water)

2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)

Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

Cook Noodles: In a large pot of boiling water, cook the rice noodles according to package instructions. Drain, rinse with cold water, and set aside.

Prepare Sauce: In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, sesame oil, brown sugar, and beef broth. Stir until well combined and set aside.

Cook Beef: Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the sliced flank steak in a single layer. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until browned. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.

Sauté Vegetables: In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, sautéing for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Add the broccoli florets and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes, until bright green and tender-crisp.

Combine Ingredients: Return the cooked beef to the skillet with the vegetables. Pour in the sauce mixture and stir to coat everything evenly. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.

Mix in Noodles: Gently add the cooked rice noodles to the skillet. Toss everything together until the noodles are well coated in the sauce and heated through.

Garnish & Serve: Remove from heat and garnish with sliced green onions and a sprinkle of sesame seeds. Serve hot and enjoy your delicious Beef & Broccoli Noodle Harmony!
