Ingredients

2 cups fresh pineapple, peeled and chopped

1 medium cucumber, peeled and sliced

4 cups cold water

2 tablespoons lime juice (freshly squeezed)

3-4 tablespoons honey or agave syrup (adjust based on sweetness preference)

Pinch of salt

Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Lime slices for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Prepare Ingredients: Start by peeling and chopping the fresh pineapple into small chunks. Peel and slice the cucumber into rounds.

Blend Base: In a blender, combine the chopped pineapple, cucumber slices, and half of the cold water. Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy.

Strain Mixture: Using a fine-mesh sieve or cheesecloth, strain the blended mixture into a large pitcher to remove the pulp (optional, but recommended for a smoother drink).

Mix in Remaining Ingredients: Add the remaining cold water to the pitcher. Stir in the freshly squeezed lime juice, honey or agave syrup, and a pinch of salt. Adjust sweetness to your liking.

Chill: Refrigerate the agua fresca for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld and the drink to cool.

Serve: Pour the agua fresca into glasses filled with ice. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and lime slices if desired. Enjoy the refreshing taste!
