4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 tablespoon unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/2 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Prepare the Chicken: Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning on both sides. Set aside.

    Sear the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and butter over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the seasoned chicken breasts. Cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side until they are golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should be 165°F/75°C). Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside on a plate.

      Make the Garlic Sauce: In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Be careful not to burn it!

        Add Cream and Cheese: Lower the heat to medium and pour the heavy cream into the skillet. Stir well to combine with the garlic. Gradually add the grated Parmesan cheese, stirring constantly until the cheese has melted and the sauce is smooth.
