8 oz elbow macaroni

2 cups fresh or canned peaches (sliced, drained if canned)

2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1 cup whole milk

1/2 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh basil or thyme for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Sauté Aromatics: In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic powder and onion powder, stirring for about 1 minute until fragrant.

    Cook Pasta: Add the macaroni to the pot and pour in 2 cups of water. Bring to a boil. Cook the macaroni for about 7-8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until al dente. Most of the water should be absorbed.

      Add Peaches and Creams: Stir in the sliced peaches, whole milk, and heavy cream. Continue to cook on medium heat, stirring frequently, for about 3-4 minutes until the mixture is creamy.

        Incorporate Cheese: Gradually add the sharp cheddar and parmesan cheese, stirring continuously until melted and fully combined. This should take 2-3 minutes.

          Season and Serve: Season with smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well to ensure everything is evenly distributed. Remove from heat and let it sit for a couple of minutes to thicken slightly.
