Ingredients

8 oz spaghetti

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 large eggs

1 cup ricotta cheese

1/2 cup finely chopped fresh basil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt & pepper to taste

Olive oil for greasing muffin tin

Optional: Marinara sauce for dipping

Instructions

Cook the Spaghetti: Begin by boiling a large pot of salted water. Once boiling, add the spaghetti and cook until al dente according to package instructions. Drain and allow to cool slightly.

Prepare the Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked spaghetti, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, eggs, ricotta cheese, chopped basil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until everything is fully incorporated.

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Grease the Muffin Tin: While the oven is preheating, lightly grease a standard muffin tin with olive oil to prevent sticking.

Form the Nests: Take a spoonful of the spaghetti mixture and press it into the greased muffin tin, forming a nest-like shape that will hold the ingredients together. Leave a small hole in the center for a perfect nest shape.

Bake the Nests: Place the muffin tin in the preheated oven and bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until the nests are golden brown and the cheese has melted.

Cool and Serve: Once baked, remove from the oven and allow the nests to cool in the muffin tin for 5 minutes. Carefully remove the nests and transfer to a serving platter.

Optional Marinara: If desired, serve with warm marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
