Mini Sausage Egg Hash Brown Sliders

1 pound breakfast sausage

6 large eggs

2 cups frozen hash browns, thawed

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

½ teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

12 slider buns (small hawaiian rolls work great)

2 tablespoons butter, melted

Optional: sliced jalapeños or hot sauce for extra kick

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

    Cook the Sausage: In a skillet over medium heat, crumble the breakfast sausage and cook until browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat and set aside.

      Prepare the Egg Mixture: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.

        Cook the Egg Mixture: In the same skillet used for the sausage, pour the egg mixture and cook over medium-low heat. Stir gently until the eggs are just set but still soft, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat.

          Combine Ingredients: In a large bowl, mix together the cooked sausage, the scrambled eggs, and the shredded cheddar cheese until evenly combined.

            Prepare Hash Browns: In another bowl, mix the thawed hash browns with a pinch of salt and pepper. You can add a little melted butter if you prefer extra crispiness.

              Assemble the Sliders: Take your slider buns and slice the tops off all at once. Spread a thin layer of melted butter on the insides of the buns. Layer with hash browns on the bottom, followed by the sausage-egg-cheese mixture, and then place the tops back on.
