Ingredients

1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup mini pepperoni slices

1/4 cup pizza sauce (plus extra for dipping)

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1 egg (for egg wash)

1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Cooking spray or parchment paper for baking

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or spray it with cooking spray.

Prepare Crescent Dough: Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles along the perforated lines.

      Assemble the Bites:

        - On each triangle, spread about a teaspoon of pizza sauce, leaving the edges clear.

          - Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese generously over the sauce.

            - Add 5-6 mini pepperoni slices on top of the cheese.

              - Sprinkle Italian seasoning and garlic powder evenly over pizza filling for added flavor.

Roll Them Up: Starting from the wide end of each triangle, roll the dough tightly towards the tip to form a crescent shape, ensuring the filling is enclosed. Pinch the edges to seal.

Egg Wash: In a small bowl, beat the egg. Brush the tops of each crescent bite with the egg wash for a nice golden color while baking. If desired, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top for extra flavor.

Bake: Place the assembled crescent bites on the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between each. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until they are golden brown.

Cool & Serve: Allow the bites to cool slightly before serving. Serve warm with extra pizza sauce on the side for dipping.
