1 package (14 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

6 slices thinly sliced ham

6 slices cheese (Swiss or cheddar, your choice)

2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

1 egg (for egg wash)

Sesame seeds (optional, for topping)

Fresh parsley (for garnish, optional)

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

    Prepare the Dough: Unroll the crescent roll dough onto a clean, flat surface. Divide it into individual triangles as per the perforation lines.

      Spread Mustard: Spread about ½ teaspoon of Dijon mustard onto the wider end of each triangle.

        Add Ham and Cheese: Place a slice of ham and a slice of cheese on top of the mustard layer. If you prefer, you can fold the ham and cheese to fit better within the triangle.

          Roll Up: Starting from the wide end, carefully roll the triangle up towards the tip, forming a crescent shape. Press the ends to seal them tightly.

            Egg Wash: In a small bowl, beat the egg and brush the mixture over the top of each croissant for a golden finish.

              Optional Topping: Sprinkle sesame seeds over the egg-washed croissants for an extra crunch and flavor.

                Bake: Place the croissants on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until they are golden brown and flaky.
