Ingredients

1 French baguette

8 oz Brie cheese, rind removed and cut into small pieces

¼ cup cranberry sauce (or fruit preserve of choice)

2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, finely chopped

2 tablespoons honey

2 tablespoons olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

Optional: Chopped walnuts or pecans for added crunch

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare the Baguette: Slice the French baguette into 1-inch thick slices on the diagonal. Arrange them in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.

Drizzle with Olive Oil: Brush both sides of the baguette slices with olive oil and sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper.

Spoon on the Filling: Place small pieces of Brie cheese on top of each baguette slice. Add about a teaspoon of cranberry sauce over the Brie, followed by a sprinkle of chopped rosemary. If using, add a few chopped walnuts or pecans on top for extra crunch.

Drizzle with Honey: Lightly drizzle honey over each slice for a sweet touch that complements the cheese and cranberries.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the Brie is melty and the baguette is golden brown.

Serve: Remove from the oven and let cool for a minute. Serve warm as an appetizer or snack, garnished with extra rosemary if desired.
