1 cup heavy cream

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

½ cup sour cream

½ teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon onion powder

Boil the Potatoes: Place the peeled and quartered russet potatoes in a large pot. Cover with cold water and add a generous pinch of salt. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Once boiling, reduce the heat to a simmer and cook until the potatoes are fork-tender, about 15-20 minutes.
