Ingredients

1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 4-6 lemons)

1 cup granulated sugar

4 cups water, divided

2 tablespoons dried culinary lavender

Lemon slices, for garnish

Fresh lavender sprigs, for garnish

Ice cubes

Instructions

Prepare the Lavender Syrup: In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of water and the sugar. Bring it to a gentle boil over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is completely dissolved.

Infuse the Lavender: Once the sugar is dissolved, add the dried lavender to the saucepan. Remove from heat and let it steep for 15-20 minutes to infuse the flavor.

Strain the Syrup: After steeping, strain the lavender syrup through a fine mesh sieve into a bowl or jar to remove the lavender flowers. Allow the syrup to cool to room temperature.

Mix the Lemonade: In a large pitcher, combine the fresh lemon juice, cooled lavender syrup, and the remaining 3 cups of cold water. Stir well to combine. Adjust sweetness to taste by adding more sugar or water if needed.

Chill the Lemonade: Refrigerate the mixture for at least 1 hour to chill thoroughly.

Serve: Fill glasses with ice cubes, pour the iced lavender lemonade over the ice, and garnish with lemon slices and fresh lavender sprigs.

Enjoy: Sip and savor the floral and citrusy delight on a sunny day!
