For the Meatballs:

1 lb ground beef or ground turkey

1/2 cup breadcrumbs

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

1 clove garlic, minced

1 egg, beaten

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp onion powder

For the Honey Sriracha Glaze:

1/4 cup honey

2-3 tablespoons Sriracha (adjust to taste)

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

1 tsp sesame oil

1 tsp minced garlic

For Garnish:

Sliced green onions

Sesame seeds

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

Prepare the Meatball Mixture: In a large bowl, combine the ground beef (or turkey), breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, minced garlic, egg, salt, black pepper, and onion powder. Mix until fully combined without overmixing.

Form the Meatballs: Using your hands, scoop out small portions of the mixture (about 1.5 inches in diameter) and roll them into balls. Place them on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are spaced apart.

Bake the Meatballs: Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until cooked through and golden brown.

Prepare the Glaze: While the meatballs are baking, prepare the honey Sriracha glaze. In a small saucepan over medium heat, add honey, Sriracha, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and minced garlic. Whisk until well combined. Bring to a simmer and let it cook for 3-5 minutes, allowing it to thicken slightly.

Glaze the Meatballs: Once the meatballs are cooked, remove them from the oven and transfer them to a large bowl. Pour the honey Sriracha glaze over the meatballs and toss gently until they are evenly coated.

Serve: Transfer the glazed meatballs to a serving platter. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds. Serve alongside toothpicks for easy eating, or as a main dish with rice or noodles.
