Ingredients

1 pound of sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes

1/4 cup honey

4 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 cup soy sauce

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

1 teaspoon fresh black pepper

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)

2 tablespoons green onions, finely sliced (for garnish)

Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

Marinate the Steak: In a mixing bowl, combine honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, vegetable oil, rice vinegar, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Mix well to create a marinade. Add the steak cubes to the marinade and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours for more flavor).

Preheat the Pan: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, remove the steak from the marinade (reserve the marinade for later) and add the steak bites in a single layer, being careful not to overcrowd the pan.

Sear the Steak: Cook the steak bites for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they are browned to your desired doneness. You may need to cook them in batches if your pan isn’t large enough.

Add the Marinade: Return the reserved marinade to the pan after the steak has browned. Allow it to simmer for 2-3 minutes until it thickens slightly and coats the steak bites.

Garnish and Serve: Remove the skillet from heat. Garnish the steak bites with sliced green onions and sesame seeds. Serve immediately.

Enjoy: Pair these delicious honey garlic steak bites with steamed rice, grilled vegetables, or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
