2 medium ripe bananas

1 cup rolled oats

1/2 cup almond flour

1/4 cup honey or maple syrup

1/4 cup dark chocolate chips (optional)

1/4 cup crushed walnuts or pecans (optional)

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp baking powder

Preheat the Oven: Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lining a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    Mash the Bananas: In a large mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth using a fork or potato masher.

      Combine Wet Ingredients: Add the honey or maple syrup and vanilla extract to the mashed bananas and mix until well-combined.

        Mix Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, combine the rolled oats, almond flour, cinnamon, baking powder, and a pinch of salt. Mix well.

          Combine Mixtures: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, stirring until just combined. If you’re using chocolate chips and nuts, fold them into the dough at this point.

            Scoop the Dough: Using a spoon or cookie scoop, drop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
