1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tbsp olive oil (for grilling)

For the Peach Salsa:

1/2 red onion, finely chopped

1 small jalapeño, seeded and minced (optional for heat)

1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

Juice of 1 lime

Salt and pepper to taste

For Serving:

Whole grain burger buns

Lettuce leaves

Sliced avocado (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Peach Salsa:

    - In a medium bowl, combine the diced peaches, chopped red onion, minced jalapeño, and cilantro.

      - Squeeze in the lime juice and mix well. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Set aside to allow the flavors to meld.

        Make the Turkey Burgers:

          - In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, chopped basil, minced garlic, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.

            - Mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat, which can make the burgers tough.

              - Shape the mixture into 4 equal patties.

                Preheat the Grill:

                  - Preheat your grill to medium-high heat and oil the grill grates lightly with olive oil to prevent sticking.

                    Grill the Turkey Burgers:

                      - Place the patties on the grill and cook for about 5-6 minutes on one side until golden brown.

                        - Carefully flip the burgers and grill for another 5-6 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).

                          Assemble the Burgers:

                            - Toast the whole grain burger buns lightly on the grill, if desired.

                              - Place a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun, followed by the grilled turkey patty, a generous spoonful of peach salsa, and optional sliced avocado. Top with the other half of the bun.

                                Serve:

                                  - Serve the turkey burgers warm with a side of sweet potato fries or a fresh green salad.
