4 slices of sourdough bread

1/2 cup fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced

1 medium ripe tomato, sliced

1 cup fresh spinach leaves

1/4 cup balsamic glaze

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh basil leaves, for garnish (optional)

Prep the Sandwich: Begin by laying out your sourdough bread slices on a clean surface. Drizzle one side of each slice with olive oil. This will help achieve a beautifully golden and crispy exterior.

    Layer the Ingredients: On the non-oiled side of two slices of bread, start layering the fresh mozzarella cheese followed by tomato slices, fresh spinach, and a drizzle of balsamic glaze. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste.

      Top It Off: Place the remaining two slices of bread on top, with the oiled side facing out.

        Heat the Grill/Pan: Preheat a skillet or grill pan over medium heat. Once heated, carefully place the sandwiches on the skillet.
