8 oz fettuccine pasta

1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

4 tbsp unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Salt and black pepper, to taste

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

2 cups fresh spinach

Juice of 1 lemon

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil and cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of the pasta water, then drain and set aside.

    Prepare the Shrimp: In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes; sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.

      Cook the Shrimp: Add the shrimp to the skillet and season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they're pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.

        Make the Cream Sauce: In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Once melted, pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy. If the sauce is too thick, gradually add some reserved pasta water to reach your desired consistency.

          Combine Ingredients: Add the cooked fettuccine, cherry tomatoes, and spinach to the cream sauce; toss to coat everything. Add the shrimp back to the skillet, then squeeze in the lemon juice and adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper if needed.

            Serve: Plate the Garlic Butter Shrimp Pasta and garnish with freshly chopped parsley. Serve immediately, with extra Parmesan on the side if desired.
