Ingredients

1 pound ground beef (80/20 blend for juiciness)

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 cup honey

1/3 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite brand)

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon chili powder (adjust to taste)

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon salt

8 small corn or flour tortillas

1 cup shredded lettuce

1 cup diced tomatoes

1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)

1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro (for garnish)

Lime wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Prepare the Beef:

In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Break it apart with a spatula and cook until browned, about 6-8 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.

      Make Garlic Butter:

In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Add the minced garlic, cooking gently until fragrant but not browned (about 1 minute).

          Combine Sauces:

Stir in the honey, BBQ sauce, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, chili powder, black pepper, and salt into the garlic butter mixture. Allow the sauce to simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.

              Mix Beef and Sauce:

Pour the garlic butter honey BBQ mixture over the cooked ground beef. Stir well to coat the beef evenly. Let it simmer for another 3-5 minutes until everything is heated through and well combined.

                  Warm the Tortillas:

In another skillet, lightly toast the tortillas over medium heat for about 30 seconds per side until warm and pliable.

                      Assemble Tacos:

Place a generous scoop of the beef mixture in the center of each tortilla. Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and shredded cheese.

                          Garnish and Serve:

Sprinkle fresh cilantro on top and serve with lime wedges on the side for squeezing over the tacos.
