Ingredients

For the Brownie Base:

1 cup almond flour

1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/2 cup maple syrup

1/4 cup coconut oil, melted

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 cup dark chocolate chips (dairy-free if desired)

For the Frozen Yogurt Layer:

2 cups plain Greek yogurt (or dairy-free yogurt)

1/4 cup honey or agave syrup

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup mini chocolate chips (dairy-free if desired)

For Topping (optional):

Crushed almonds or walnuts

A drizzle of chocolate or caramel sauce

Instructions

Prepare the Brownie Base:

    - In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, cocoa powder, maple syrup, melted coconut oil, vanilla extract, and salt. Stir until the mixture is smooth and well combined.

      - Fold in the dark chocolate chips until evenly distributed.

        - Line an 8x8 inch square baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal later. Spread the brownie batter evenly in the bottom of the prepared dish, pressing down firmly to create an even layer.

          - Freeze the brownie base for about 30 minutes to firm up.

            Make the Frozen Yogurt Layer:

              - While the brownies firm up, in a separate bowl, mix the Greek yogurt, honey (or agave syrup), and vanilla extract until creamy and smooth.

                - Gently fold in the mini chocolate chips for an extra chocolaty bite.

                  Assemble the Squares:

                    - Remove the brownie base from the freezer and spread the yogurt mixture over the brownie layer evenly using a spatula.

                      - If desired, sprinkle crushed almonds or walnuts on top for added crunch.

                        Freeze and Cut:

                          - Cover the baking dish with plastic wrap and return it to the freezer for at least 4 hours, or until completely firm.

                            - Once set, lift out the squares using the parchment overhang and cut into small squares or bars.

                              Serve:

                                - If desired, drizzle with melted chocolate or caramel sauce before serving.
