Ingredients

2 ripe bananas

1 cup Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)

2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup

1/4 cup strawberry puree (fresh or store-bought)

1/4 cup chocolate syrup

1/4 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or almonds work well)

1/2 cup whipped cream (optional)

Maraschino cherries for garnish

2 tablespoons mini chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Banana Base: Peel the ripe bananas and slice them into 1/4-inch thick rounds. Place the banana slices in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Make the Yogurt Mixture: In a medium bowl, mix the Greek yogurt and honey (or maple syrup) until well combined. This will sweeten the yogurt and give it a creamy consistency.

Layer the Ingredients: Using a spoon, place a dollop of the yogurt mixture on top of each banana slice, spreading it gently so it covers the banana evenly.

Add the Sauces: Using a squeeze bottle or a spoon, drizzle the strawberry puree over half of the yogurt-covered banana slices. On the other half, drizzle the chocolate syrup.

Sprinkle with Toppings: Evenly distribute the chopped nuts and optional mini chocolate chips over all the yogurt-covered banana slices.

Freeze the Disks: Carefully place the tray in the freezer. Freeze for at least 2-3 hours, or until the yogurt is firm and the disks are solidified.

Serve: Once the disks are frozen, remove them from the freezer and allow to sit for a minute for easier removal. Optionally, top with whipped cream and a maraschino cherry for a classic banana split touch before serving.

Enjoy: Serve the Frozen Yogurt Banana Split Disks on a plate or in a bowl as a delightful and refreshing treat!
