Ingredients

4 ripe bananas

1 cup dark chocolate chips (or milk chocolate if preferred)

2 tablespoons coconut oil

1/2 cup crushed nuts (e.g., almonds, peanuts, or walnuts)

1/2 cup shredded coconut (unsweetened for a healthier option)

1/4 cup mini chocolate chips (optional, for added texture)

Wooden sticks or skewers

Instructions

Prep the Bananas: Peel the bananas and cut them in half. Insert a wooden stick into each half for easy handling. Place the banana pops on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the dark chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval until smooth and completely melted.

Coat the Bananas: Dip each banana half into the melted chocolate, ensuring they are fully coated. Allow excess chocolate to drip off before placing them back on the baking sheet.

Add Toppings: While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle the crushed nuts, shredded coconut, and mini chocolate chips generously over the banana pops.

Freeze the Pops: Place the baking sheet with the coated banana pops in the freezer for at least 2-3 hours or until fully frozen.

Serve: Once frozen, remove the pops from the parchment paper and serve immediately, or store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to a week.
