Ingredients

2 cups fresh or frozen cheese ravioli

1 cup ricotta cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup shredded parmesan cheese

1 cup crumbled goat cheese

2 cups marinara sauce (store-bought or homemade)

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon dried basil

1 teaspoon dried oregano

½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for a little heat)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Sauté Garlic: In a medium-sized skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

Mix the Marinara: Pour in the marinara sauce, basil, oregano, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Stir to combine and simmer for about 5 minutes. Remove from heat.

Assemble the Casserole: In a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, spread a thin layer of the marinara sauce (about ½ cup) on the bottom.

Layer Ravioli and Cheese: Arrange half of the ravioli on top of the sauce. Spread half of the ricotta cheese over the ravioli and sprinkle with half of the mozzarella, parmesan, and goat cheese.

Repeat Layers: Add another layer of marinara sauce (another ½ cup), followed by the remaining ravioli. Top with the remaining marinara sauce and finish with the rest of the cheese.

Cover and Bake: Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

Garnish and Serve: Allow the casserole to cool for a few minutes before garnishing with fresh parsley. Serve warm and enjoy your delicious homemade Four Cheese Baked Ravioli Casserole!
