Ingredients

1 lb (450g) sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried rosemary)

1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried thyme)

Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Steak: Pat the steak cubes dry with paper towels. This will help them sear properly. Season generously with salt and pepper on all sides.

Sear the Steak: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, add the steak cubes in a single layer. Allow them to sear undisturbed for about 2-3 minutes until they develop a nice brown crust. Then, flip them and sear the other side for another 2-3 minutes. Remove the steak bites from the skillet and set aside.

Make the Garlic Butter: In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium, add 2 tablespoons of butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic, rosemary, and thyme. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until the garlic is fragrant but not burned.

Combine: Return the steak bites to the skillet. Add Worcestershire sauce and the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Toss everything together to evenly coat the steak bites in the garlic butter mixture. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, stirring gently until everything is heated through.

Garnish and Serve: Remove from heat, sprinkle with chopped parsley if desired, and serve immediately, spooning some of the sauce over the steak bites.
