1 large baguette or French loaf

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

4 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon dried parsley

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for a kick)

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

    Prepare the garlic butter: In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter with minced garlic, salt, black pepper, oregano, dried parsley, and red pepper flakes (if using). Mix until well combined and creamy.

      Slice the baguette: Carefully cut the baguette in half lengthwise to create two equal halves.

        Spread the garlic butter: Generously spread the garlic butter mixture over the cut sides of the baguette halves, making sure to cover them evenly.
