Ingredients

1 loaf of French baguette, sliced

1 cup sliced salami

1 cup sliced prosciutto

1 cup cubed cheddar cheese

1 cup crumbled goat cheese

1 cup green grapes, halved

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

½ cup black olives, sliced

4 large eggs

1 cup milk

½ tsp garlic powder

½ tsp onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh herbs for garnish (e.g., rosemary, thyme)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.

Layer the Base: Arrange the sliced baguette in a single layer at the bottom of the prepared baking dish. This will form the base of your casserole.

Add the Meats and Cheeses: Evenly distribute the sliced salami and prosciutto over the bread. Sprinkle the cubed cheddar and crumbled goat cheese across the top.

Incorporate Fresh Ingredients: Scatter the halved grapes, cherry tomatoes, and sliced black olives over the cheese. Ensure even distribution for a burst of flavor in every bite.

Mix the Egg Mixture: In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Pour Over: Carefully pour the egg mixture over the layered ingredients in the dish, ensuring that it seeps through to the bottom.

Bake: Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.

Garnish: Once baked, take it out and let it cool for a few minutes. Sprinkle fresh herbs on top for added flavor and presentation.

Serve and Enjoy: Cut into squares and serve warm. This casserole pairs beautifully with a light salad or as a brunch dish.
