4 bone-in or boneless pork chops (1 inch thick)

1 packet (1 oz) ranch dressing mix

1 cup plain breadcrumbs (preferably seasoned)

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a baking dish that can hold the pork chops in a single layer.

    Prepare the Coating: In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the ranch dressing mix, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Mix well to combine all the dry ingredients.

      Prep the Pork Chops: Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture. This helps the coating stick better. Dip each pork chop in the melted butter, ensuring it's well coated.

        Coat the Pork Chops: Press each butter-coated pork chop into the breadcrumb mixture, turning to coat both sides thoroughly. Place the coated pork chops into the prepared baking dish.

          Bake the Chops: Drizzle any remaining melted butter over the topped pork chops. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the pork chops reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C) and the coating is golden brown and crispy.
