Ingredients

2 cups Greek yogurt (plain or flavored to your preference)

1 cup granola (choose your favorite blend)

2 cups mixed fruits (e.g., strawberries, blueberries, bananas, or any seasonal fruits)

2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional for sweetness)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

A sprinkle of cinnamon (optional)

Jars or airtight containers for serving

Instructions

Prepare the Yogurt Base: In a mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt with the vanilla extract and honey or maple syrup if you prefer a sweeter yogurt. Mix until smooth and creamy.

Chop the Fruits: Wash and chop your chosen mixed fruits into bite-sized pieces. If using bananas, slice them just before assembling to prevent browning.

Layer the Ingredients: Start layering your breakfast jars. Begin with a generous spoonful of the yogurt mixture, followed by a layer of fruits, and then a sprinkle of granola.

Repeat Layers: Continue to layer until your jars are filled, aiming for at least two to three layers of yogurt, fruits, and granola. Finish with a layer of fruits on top for a colorful presentation.

Add a Final Touch: If desired, sprinkle some cinnamon over the final layer of fruit to enhance the flavor. Drizzle a bit of extra honey or syrup for added sweetness.

Seal and Refrigerate: Secure the jars with lids or cover them with plastic wrap. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld together. These jars can be prepared the night before for a quick grab-and-go breakfast!

Serve: Grab your jar in the morning, and enjoy your nutritious and delicious breakfast at home or on the way to school.
