1 lb (450g) fresh salmon fillet, skin removed

3 tablespoons pure maple syrup

2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice (about 1 lemon)

1 teaspoon lemon zest

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon smoked paprika

Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Salt, to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish, optional)

Instructions
 

Cut the Salmon: Begin by cutting the salmon fillet into bite-sized cubes, about 1 inch in size, and place them in a medium bowl.

    Prepare the Marinade: In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, lemon juice, lemon zest, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, smoked paprika, olive oil, salt, and pepper until fully combined.

      Marinate the Salmon: Pour the marinade over the cubed salmon and gently toss to ensure every piece is coated evenly. Cover and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.

        Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.

          Arrange in the Air Fryer: Once marinated, take the salmon out of the refrigerator. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking. Place the salmon bites in a single layer in the basket, making sure they don’t touch each other for even cooking.
